How quickly our three weeks in Colorado Springs have flown. We have enjoyed meeting old and new friends at the Academy, riding our bikes in this beautiful setting, going to football games, and just relaxing in the gorgeous pines and fall colors of the FamCamp. Roger got to see old classmates from the class of 1970 and we had fun talking to cadets. These future Air Force officers give us great hope for our country.
My brother, Warren, arrived on Sunday. Warren, now owns the first RV that we had, the Sprinter van. He loves it and uses it quite a lot. He came in for the Air Force/Navy game scheduled to take place on Saturday morning.
Warren and his Airedale, Andy arrive at USAFA.
He is still my baby brother.
Warren is relaxing with Bear.
On Friday, Warren's friend, Lea, arrived from Park City.
Unfortunately Air Force lost in overtime. It was a very exciting game. Tomorrow, Sunday, we are off to Santa Fe for the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. Thank you for checking in with the blog.
Warren, Lea and Roger
Warren, Lea, Roger and I woke up to very cold temperatures on Saturday morning, game day. We walked over to the stadium early (8:30) because of the televised kickoff at 9:30. It was 34 degrees and never warmed up. It was especially cold because of the low cloud cover. All flybys were cancelled because of the low visibility.

The Drum and Bugle Corps signaling the beginning of the march on by the cadets.
Both Air Force and Navy marched onto the field.
